Telangana Chief minister visits Sringeri Sringeri December 16, 2015

Honorary chief-minister of the state of Telengana, Sri K. Chandrashekhara Rao, visited Sringeri and had darshan of the Jagadgurus on December 16, 2015. Seeking blessings for the welfare of his people, the chief-minister also sought blessings and guidance of the Jagadguru for the Ayuta-Chandi Maha-yaga he intended to perform.

Sri Shakti Ganapati Mahapradosha was conducted at the shrine of Sri Shakti Ganapati inside the temple of Goddess Sharadamba, on December 8, 2015, with the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam by the students of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala.

On November 16th, 23rd, 30th and December 7th 2015, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed the Kartika Somavara Puja to Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon amidst chanting of Veda Mantras by the Pandits of the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham and the Vidyarthis of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala, Sringeri. Many hundreds watched the Pujas which were also shown live on Sri Sankara TV.
