Rig Samhita Yaga at Jayapura April 16, 2015

On 16 April 2015, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam graced the Poornahuti of the Rik Samhita Yaga at Lokanathapura, near Jayapura (about 30 km from Sringeri). The Yaga was conducted by elderly Purohit Sri Sitaram Bhat, who had studied in the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala six decades ago.

Starting from the Kotekar Math, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam arrived to a grand reception at Mangalore city. The Jagadgurus were taken in a grand procession to the Radha Krishna temple whose Centenary Celebrations was under way. On arrival, Dhuli Pada Puja to the Padukas of Sri Mahasannidhanam was performed by the family that maintains the temple. Sri Sannidhanam then blessed the family. Sri Mahasannidhanam then performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

On 11th April 2015, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam started from Sringeri at around 9 a.m. and arrived at the Sringeri Shankara Math, Kotekar, Mangalore by noon to a rapturous welcome by devotees led by Sri Satyashankara Bollava, Dharmadhikari of the Math and Sri Vasudeva, President of Shankara Prathishtana, Mangalore.

Sri Rama Navami was celebrated at Sringeri on the 28th of March. The day’s proceedings commenced with Their Holinesses crossing over to the northern banks of the Tunga for Aalaya Darshan, including the Mangala Arati at the Sri Kothandarama Swami temple.

65th Vardhanti Mahotsava of Sri Sri Mahasannidhanam March 27, 2015

The 65th Vardhanti of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam was celebrated at Sringeri in a glorious manner. On 16th March 2015, the Jayanti of the 33rd Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji was observed. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and His successor-designate, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam graced the Tirthamuthur Math near Tirthahalli on 18th March 2015. After being received with reverence and devotion by the devotees, Sri Sri Mahasannidhanam performed Puja and Punah Prathishta of Lord Yoga Narasimha and Lord Hanuman.

The annual Durgamba Rathotsava, took place at Sringeri on February 27, 2015 at the temple of Goddess Vanadurga. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam led the Rathotsava.
