Inauguration of Vishwakarma Samudaya Bhavana February 11, 2015

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam inaugurated “Sri Vishwakarma Samudaya Bhavana”. Acceding to the invitation of the members of Vishwakarma Seva Samiti, in Sringeri, Sri Mahasannidhanam graced the opening ceremony on Feb 11, 2015 with His Uttaradhikari Shishya Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam.

On Feb 9th, 2015 morning Mahasannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and Sannidhanam Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri ​Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji reached Narasimhapura and performed Kumbhabhisheka in the Lord Venkateshwara temple, that belongs to the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.

The annual Sharadamba Maharathotsava took place on 7th February 2015. The Utsava Murti of Goddess Sharadamba was taken along the main streets of Sringeri in a decorated Ratha.


Sanskrit book release February 6, 2015

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam released a Sanskrit book titled “Ranganatha-lekha-manjusha” during the morning Darshan on February 6, 2015. The book is a compendium of scholarly articles on various topics penned by the late scholar, Mahamahopadhyaya Vidwan Sri Ranganatha Sharma; and is published by Samskrita Bharati, Bengaluru.

Amrita Mahotsava (120th Anniversary) of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala January 26, 2015

One hundred and twenty years ago, in 1895, corresponding to the “Manmatha” year in the traditional Indian Almanac, the 33rd Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham at Sringeri, Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji founded the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala to foster and promote Vedic education. Since then, the Pathashala has been playing a vital role in preserving the hoary Vedic wisdom by producing many Vedic as well as Shastric scholars year after year.
