Jagadguru graces Karwar December 4, 2014

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji undertook a short Vijaya Yatra in Karnataka and Goa in November-December 2014. The Jagadguru undertook the 12 day journey to spread Sanatana Vaidika Dharma among the masses. The highlights of the Yatra include Kumbhabhishekas of newly constructed temples, foundation stone laying ceremonies, special Pujas and benedictory discourses.

Jagadguru graces Kundapura in Southern Karnataka November 28, 2014

The Jagadguru Mahaswamiji started from Sringeri on 26th November 2014 and reached Sri Kundeshwara Swami Temple at Kundapura. The Shakti Ganapati Mahapradosha was celebrated this year by the Vidyarthis and Pandits of “Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala of Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham” on 19th November 2014 at the shrine of Sri Shakti Ganapati inside the Goddess Sharadamba temple.

Deepotsavas in Kartika Masa November 11, 2014

Kartika Deepotsava, celebrated as Laksha Deepotsava took place on the Poornima of Kartika month on 6th November 2014. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at Lord Malahanikareshwara Temple by around 9:30PM and had the Darshan of the Arati performed to Lord Stambha Ganapati, Lord Malahanikareshwara and Bhavani Amba.

Aradhana and Rathotsava of Sri Vidyashankara October 30, 2014

The Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha was observed reverentially on 30th October 2014. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Lord Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Samadhi location of the Jagadguru.
