Kartika Somavara Puja November 17, 2014

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed a special Somavara Puja on the four Somavaras of the Kartika Maasa (October-Nov 2014) of the Jaya Samvatsara.

Deepotsavas in Kartika Masa November 11, 2014

Kartika Deepotsava, celebrated as Laksha Deepotsava took place on the Poornima of Kartika month on 6th November 2014. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at Lord Malahanikareshwara Temple by around 9:30PM and had the Darshan of the Arati performed to Lord Stambha Ganapati, Lord Malahanikareshwara and Bhavani Amba.

Ksheerabdhi dwadashi November 4, 2014

On 4th November 2014, Ksheerabdhi Dwadashi was celebrated with a special Puja to Lord Lakshminarasimha in Narasimhapura Agrahara in Sringeri. Dhatri3 Homa and Tulasi Kalyanam were also performed at the temple.

Aradhana and Rathotsava of Sri Vidyashankara October 30, 2014

The Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha was observed reverentially on 30th October 2014. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Lord Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Samadhi location of the Jagadguru.

Sannyasa Sweekara Day and Go Puja October 24, 2014

20th October 2014 (Aashvina Krishna Dwadashi) marked the 40th Sannyasa Sweekara day of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji. The Jagadguru had Darshan at the temple of Goddess Sharadamba and at all other temples.
