Jagadguru begins Vijaya Yatra February 26, 2012

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji has started on a Vijaya Yatra on 26th February 2012. The Jagadguru travels through Belur and Mandya and will reach Bangalore on 28th and then grace Tamil Nadu in early March. The 62nd Vardhanti of the Jagadguru will be celebrated at Coimbatore.

Reaching Belur at about 11 AM on 26th February 2012, the Jagadguru performed the Prathishta Kumbhabhisheka of Goddess Sharada and Adi Shankaracharya at the Sringeri Shankara Math at Belur.
