Jnanodaya Pre-University College


Jnanodaya College was founded on 27th June 2002, with the Blessings of His Holiness Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Maha Swamiji, the Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.

Initially Jnanodaya School was founded by Sri Sri Abhinava Vidya Theertha Maha Swamiji in 1988, with the aim to give quality & value based education. In order to extend this upto PU level , college was started. Our college has been awarded ‘A’ grade by the department of Pre University
Education.

  • Visiting subject experts ( Prof of Eminence) to maintain the quality and to update the knowledge to keep abreast with modern advances in Science and Technology.

Salient features

  • Limited number of 45-50 students only in each section.
  • Special training for public exam.
  • Revision of chapters covered in various subjects every week.
  • All classes will be engaged without letting off, under any circumstances.
  • Regular monthly test in each term, in addition to mid-term and preparatory exams.
  • The test papers will be evaluated scientifically. Each student will be counseled, discussed and remedial measures for rectification for better performance will be suggested.
  • Periodic lectures on general topics by eminent scholars and scientists, for personality development.
  • Regular counseling, lectures on career guidance, to give a very wide exposure to the students to pursue higher education according to their potentials and innate strength.
  • Regular staff counseling, discussion and conduction of colloquium and seminar to teaching staff to update the knowledge in various subjects for better performance and to reach the students in the right perspective.

The II PUC results have been consistently more than 95% for the past ten years. In the co-curicular field also our students have excelled and brought
Laurels in the inter college competitions.

Our Routine / Schedule

The entire academic programme work in two sessions namely I Term and II Term.

  • 9.30 – 12:30 p.m : Academic Session I
  • 12.30 – 1.00 p.m : Lunch Break
  • 1.00 – 4.00 p.m : Academic Session II
