On the occasion of Sri Narasimha Jayanti, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, who is presently camping in Bengaluru City, offered special puja to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, in accordance with the hoary traditions of the Peetham.
The Jagadguru performed phala-panchamruta abhisheka and a special आम्र-रसः (āmra-rasaḥ )abhisheka as a part of the षोडशोपचार-पूजा (ṣoḍaśopacāra-pūjā).
The puja concluded with the Maha-Mangala-Aratrika followed by पारायण (pārāyaṇa) of the श्री-नृसिंहावतार-अध्याय (śrī-nṛsiṃhāvatāra-adhyāya) of the Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana by the Jagadguru, late in the noon.
