To the right of Sri Sharadamba temple at Sringeri is a shrine dedicated to Rama, Sita and Lakshmana. Special Puja is performed during Rama Navaratri.

The idols of Sri Rama Sri Lakshmana and Sri Sita were brought from Aegundi near Hampi during Krishna Devaraya’s regime.

Vasanta Navaratri or Sri Rama navami is a grand celebration for ten days commencing from caitra shukla paadya till caitra shukla dasami.
