As a part of the 2012-13 Vijaya Yatra, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji halted at the holy town of Srisailam for six days. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, the Jagadguru explained the importance and significance of the holy town of Srisailam and the ancient bonds between the Sringeri Jagadgurus and Srisailam that stretches directly back to Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
