e Swarna Shikhara Mahakumbhabhisheka of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Torana Ganapati temples, the Ati Rudra Mahayaga commenced with Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam undertaking the Mahasankalpa. The Mahayaga will take place from April 25 – May 6, 2022.

As the first event of the Swarna Shikhara Mahakumbhabhisheka of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Torana Ganapati temples, the Laksha Modaka Mahaganapati Homa was conducted at Sringeri on April 24, 2022. The Poornahuti took place in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Basavaraj Bommai visited Sringeri on April 19, 2022. He was received with Poorna kumbha honours by Sringeri Math CEO, Sri VR Gowrishankar. The Chief Minister then had Darshan of Goddess Sharadamba and the Ubhaya Jagadgurus and received their blessings.

In 2022, coinciding with the 101st birth anniversary (Phalguna Krishna Dashami – March 27) of Brahmasri Venkateshwara Avadhani, a Pathashala with the name “Brahmasri Tangirala Venkateshwara Avadhani Smaraka Pathashala” has been started in his sacred memory with the blessings of the Sringeri Jagadgurus at the same spot in Narasaraopet.

Sharadamba Maharathotsava took place today on February 19, 2022. The Utsava Murti of Goddess Sharadamba was taken along the main streets of Sringeri in a decorated Ratha. Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam led the procession amidst chants of the Vedas and bhajans.
