Sri Vidyatirtha Foundation is organising a week long festivity celebrating the Shahtyabdapurti Mahotsava of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji at Sringeri Jagadguru Pravachana Mandiram, Rajah Annamalai Puran, Chennai.

As a conclusion of the year long celebrations of 60th Year of Jagadguru, Asta Dravya Mahaganapati Homam was performed on the Mrigashirsha Nakshatra Day on Sunday, 13th March 2011 at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai. In culmination of year- long celebrations of the 60th year of the Jagadguru, Ashta Dravya Mahaganapati Homam will be performed on Sunday, the 13th of March 2011 at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai from 8.30 am onwards. All are welcome to participate in it and receive the blessings of Jagadguru.

An interesting and informative Pravachanam by Smt. Anantalakshmi Ammal of Bangalore, founder of Geetha Guru Samskrita Sangha, Bangalore, was held at the premises of Sri Sringeri Shankara Math at Chembur, Mumbai for 3 days from 5th March to 7th March 2011.

Deepa Pooja by Suvasinis was performed on the last Friday Makara Masa on the 11th of February 2011 at Sringeri Math, Chembur.

With the Benign Grace and Blessings of Jagadguru Shankarachyara Sri Sri Bharathi Tirtha Maha Swamiji, Mahashivaratri at Sri Sringeri Shankara Math in Chembur, Mumbai will be celebrated on Wednesday, 2nd March 2011.

Coimbatore Sringeri Math Branch and Sri Krishna Sweets jointly organize an year long lecture series ‘Eternal Voices’ to celebrate 60th Vardhanti of His Holiness.

Rathasapthami was celebrated in Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai on Thursday, the 10th February 2011 by performing Suryanamaskaram.

In honour of the coming 61st Vardhanti celebrations of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, various Lectures and Hari-Katha sessions have been arranged at the Tattvaloka Auditorium in Chennai in the month of February 2011.
