Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed Kartika Somavara Puja on November 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th with an elaborate worship of Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon.

Under the direction of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, the Peetham has launched a programme called the Shaankara Tattva Prasaara Abhiyaanam in November 2009. As part of the Abhiyaanam, a first level programme, similar to the ones conducted in Sringeri, Kollur and Bangalore, was held on December 25 and 26, 2010 in the Sringeri Shankara Math premises in Mysore.

Ardrotsava took place on December 22nd 2010 with the Mahamangalarati to Lord Malahanikareshwara and Goddess Bhavani being performed early morning in the Jagadguru’s divine presence. Devotees were present for the Mahamangalaarti and the grand procession at around 5 AM on the chill December morning.

Shatachandi Mahayaga was performed at Sri Kalikamba temple in December 2010 for 5 days. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed a Special puja to Kalaikamba on 20th December and graced the Poornahuti of the Shatachandi Mahayaga on 21st December.

Under the direction of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, the Peetham has launched a programme called the Shaankara Tattva Prasaara Abhiyaanam on 30th November 2009. The programme focuses on developing Pravachanakaras to spread the tenets of Sanatana Dharma and Advaita Vedanta with emphasis on the life and works of Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada.

Sri Subrahmanya Shashthi was celebrated on 11th December 2010. Pavamana Abhisheka and Rudra Abhisheka were performed at the shrine of Sri Balasubrahmanyaswamy at Sringeri.

On 10th December 2010, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed a special Puja and Kumbhabhisheka at Shalipura Sri Subrahmanya Swamy temple at Kokradi, Belthangadi Taluk, South Canara district.

The Swamiji of the Puttige Math at Udupi, Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamiji visited Sringeri on 4th December 2010 and had Darshan of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji at Guru Nivas. Earlier, the Swamiji was received with Poornakumbha honours near the Sharada temple and had Darshan of Goddess Sharada.
